Welcome!

Dear ISCRAM colleagues and friends,

The local organising committee is delighted to welcome you to the 24th Annual International Conference on Information Systems for Crisis Response and Management (ISCRAM 2027), which will be held in Perth, Western Australia, from 30 May to 2 June 2027.

The theme of the conference is “Supporting First Nations and Remote Communities”.

This is the first time that ISCRAM has been held in Australia, and we are excited to bring together researchers and practitioners from across the Indo-Pacific region, with colleagues from New Zealand and Sri Lanka joining our local organising committee.

Perth is the capital of Western Australia, a vast state nearly twice the size of Texas, and home to some of the most remote First Nations communities in the world. The region faces a diverse range of challenges, including natural hazards such as extreme weather, bushfires, earthquakes, tsunamis and volcanic activity, as well as cybersecurity threats and disruptions to essential services.

We look forward to welcoming you to Perth in 2027. We also hope you will take the opportunity to explore Western Australia and the wider region during your visit. More information about the destination can be found here: https://www.westernaustralia.com/au/home.
